A day late, here is what I am grateful for this week:
1. Saturday night Brandon and I went on a date, alone (our first since Addy was born)! We went to eat at Johnny Carino's and then went and saw National Treasure:Book of Secrets. I loved the movie! Addy was super good for our neighbor who watched her for us.
2. I love my ward. (In my church, a ward is the group of people you go to church with, like a congregation.) I have many friends and I feel comfortable here.
3. I am glad that Addyson is happy and healthy. Recently a friend had a baby 10 weeks early, and it has to spend two months in the NICU, connected to tubes and machines. It made me realize how lucky I was to have an uneventful delivery and that Addyson is strong.
4. American Idol starts a new season tonight! Yeah! It's the only reality show I like--and I watch it faithfully. I can't wait to see all the new freaks, hear Simon's insults, and watch Paula Abdul make a fool of herself.
5. I finally joined the real world and got a cell phone last week! (Previously, I've been too cheap.) We're cancelling our home phone, but at least if I get stranded on the side of the road, I can call Brandon.

I am so glad you posted a picture of Addy--she is adorable!!! Keep them coming, please!!! I'm glad you got to go on a real date. Nothing is more fun to me than dinner and a movie. And that is also wonderful that you gt a cell phone--you'll have to email me your number.
I agree--Addy is so cute. And she lookd big and healthy! I'm glad you had a great date night last weekend. That sounds wonderful.
